Cuddly Morning Grump

[A/N: I haven’t really had any burning ideas lately, any flashes of inspiration I’ve just had to write. But I’ve hit the point where I feel like if I don’t write anything, I’m at risk of falling off the wagon. So I rooted around a bit in my drawer of lesser-formed ideas to find something to at least turn into a short fic. And I settled on this Maho Girls Precure idea that has been floating around for a month or two. I really love Mirai and Riko a lot.]

As usual, Riko woke up before the alarm went off. It seemed to come naturally to her, and there weren’t many mornings she was woken by the actual alarm itself. But she had to set it, just in case. Being late was not tolerable.

She disabled the alarm before it had a chance to go off. No need to disturb the other person in the bed, after all. That one didn’t like getting up as early. For a moment Riko was tempted to stay. Mirai had just gotten back from her business trip last night, so they hadn’t had a lot of time together yet. She pretty much fell asleep right away, as well. Riko was really tempted to stay here longer. But only for a moment before she pushed it out of her mind, and sat up.

Sweet Melodies Sweet Memories

[A/N: Going all the way back to where things started, I’ve been pondering another BanG Dream fic for a little while. Considering how many months it’s been, I can’t swear I remember their personalities all that well any longer, but I still want to try some Arisa and Kasumi as adults.]

“I’m home,” Arisa called out as she took off her shoes. Her feet ached a little. Walking in new shoes always sucked. Though at first there was no reply. “Kasumi?” she called out as she walked into the living room.

“Arisa!” A quick patter of feet came from the back of the house, and Kasumi basically skid to a halt at the door just as Arisa was setting her handbag down by the couch. “Look what I found!” Kasumi said excitedly, and held forth a red, star-shaped guitar.

“Eh? Your old guitar?” Arisa asked as she sat down. Sweet relief.

“Yes!” Kasumi practically bounced as she made her way over. She had dug out the old amp as well.

Recharge and Recovery

[A/N: It’s been a while since the last entry in this series now, so to spare anyone who doesn’t want to go back and read those previous stories, here’s the TL;DR: Aoba and Hifumi are living together, and are engaged.]

Hifumi is resting in the office at home. There had been a meeting at work today, and by the time she got home she was exhausted. Aoba had gone shopping to give Hifumi some quiet time. Hifumi smiles fondly thinking about her fiance, certain she has made the right choice.

She could have gone taken a nap in bed, but if she ends up sleeping too long, it will ruin her night’s sleep. Dimming the lights in the office, and resting on the couch in there is an acceptable alternative. She has a napping pillow similar to the one at work, and is currently resting on her side while gently petting Sojiro with two fingers. The little hedgehog has a perpetually grumpy look, but Hifumi can tell he loves her. She’s sure he likes Aoba too, even if Aoba isn’t as convinced. She puts too much stock in his expression.
